Salary Range:

£90,000 – £120,000 base + bonus + benefits

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Oversight: Leading Portfolio Strategy

Developing Portfolio Strategies:

Design and implement strategies to maximize the value and returns of the real estate portfolio.

Aligning with Business Objectives:

Ensure that portfolio management strategies align with the company’s broader business and financial goals.

Driving Growth:

Identify opportunities for portfolio growth through acquisitions, dispositions, and other investment activities.

2. Asset Management: Overseeing Portfolio Performance

Overseeing Asset Performance:

Manage the performance of all properties within the portfolio, ensuring operational efficiency and financial success.

Financial Targets:

Ensure assets are operating within budget and achieving targeted financial outcomes, including revenue and profitability.

Decision-Making:

Make high-level decisions regarding acquisitions, dispositions, and developments based on market conditions and financial analysis.

3. Financial Analysis and Reporting: Driving Informed Decisions

Advanced Financial Analysis:

Lead the financial analysis and modeling for strategic decisions, assessing returns, risks, and opportunities.

Monitoring Financial Performance:

Oversee monitoring of cash flow, expenses, and profitability, ensuring financial goals are met.

Reporting:

Prepare detailed reports for senior management and external stakeholders, presenting key performance insights, trends, and recommendations.

4. Market Research and Analysis: Identifying Opportunities and Risks

In-Depth Market Research:

Conduct comprehensive market research to assess current trends, potential risks, and emerging opportunities in real estate.

Economic, Demographic, and Regulatory Trends:

Identifying Risks:

Assess and identify risks associated with the real estate portfolio, including market risks, financial risks, and operational risks.

Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal company requirements across all portfolio activities.

Skills and Qualifications

Educational Background:

Advanced Degree:

Typically holds an advanced degree (e.g., MBA, Master’s in Real Estate, or Finance).

Certifications:

Relevant certifications such as CFA, RICS, or CPM are advantageous and may enhance credibility.

Experience:

Real Estate and Asset Management Expertise:

Significant experience in real estate, asset management, or investment management, ideally with a proven track record of managing large and complex portfolios.

Leadership Experience:

Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing cross-functional projects in a high-paced, results-driven environment.
